Xinling is a first-year Ph.D. student in Transportation at MIT, supervised by Prof. Jinhua Zhao and Prof. Gioele Zardini. Her research interests are on the control and optimization of smart mobility systems. Prior to this, she earned her bachelor’s degree in Traffic Engineering from Tongji University and obtained her master’s degree in Transportation and Mobility from EPFL in 2021 and 2024, respectively. During her master’s studies, she had the opportunity to work in the Machine Learning for Smart Mobility (MLSM) lab at DTU, where she conducted her master project on learning the joint rebalancing and dynamic pricing policies in Autonomous Mobility-on-Demand system under the supervision of Prof. Filipe Rodrigues.
